When the going got tough, the Raiders got going

Featured Replies

Ryle came up with an impressive victory over Simon last night and getting it done during crunch time is always the sign of a good team. Well done Raiders!

Does this win make the Raiders the clear favorite to advance the furthest in the playoffs or if these two teams played ten times would they split five and five? Does the win give the Raiders and advantage next time around?

I would not say clear favorite unless Ryle continues to improve in the passing game. The teams may split 10 times but this win does give Ryle an advantage, homefield plus mental, if they play again, which is a very good possibility.

It's an even battle. If Ryle's DEs continue to fail to keep the perimeter covered Lawrence will once again dominate. If Ryle works on containing Lawrence Ryle wins 7 of 10.

I agree with this. The one thing I think that will be a major plus in the mental side for Ryle is that they kept constantly coming back from behind in this game, so they know if it happens next time to stay calm because they've done it before. With regard to the homefield advantage, I must say that SK certainly brought a large fan contingent to the game to help offset some of the Ryle advantage in that area. Props to their fan base.
