District 37 - Winner: NewCath ... Runner-up: Highlands

District 38 - Winner: George Rogers Clark ... Runner-up: Bourbon County

District 39 - Winner: Campbell County ... Runner-up: Bishop Brossart

District 40 - Winner: Harrison County ... Runner-up: Deming

As far as the regional tournament, I think it will come down to the usual suspects in the finals with those being Newport Central Catholic against Campbell County and NCC winning the region.

I have basically the same with a small exception:

District 37 - Winner: NewCath ... Runner-up: Highlands

District 38 - Winner: George Rogers Clark ... Runner-up: Nicholas Co

District 39 - Winner: Campbell County ... Runner-up: Bishop Brossart *(Think this one can go either way)*

District 40 - Winner: Harrison County ... Runner-up: Deming *(Think this one can go either way)*

I believe the Region is a Harrison Co this year, which will be an advantage for them. In the event that GRC doesn't pull of the upset of the year (Got to believe.....................) New Cath sails through.

St. Patrick over Deming is a little shocking to me.

While the Bourbon Co/Nicholas Co game was exciting, I think this match-up was by far the best of the night. Deming beat St. Patrick earlier in the year, and had a higher 10th region ranking. I would say that their overall strength of schedule was about the same as St. Patricks.

Campbell Co and Bishop Brossart will be another great match up on Wed for the 39th District Championship.

Great Wins for:

Newport Cath - 37th District Champs

GRC - 38th District Champs

Bishop Brossart - 39th District Champs

Will be waiting to see the results tonight for the 40th District to set the field for the Regions. It will be interesting to see the draw for all these great teams!
