With singles from Bartlett, Crawford, and Longoria the Rays have the bases loaded with one out in bottom of the first.

Pena out with a called strike 3. Bases loaded, two outs.

Lee strikes out Baldelli to get out of the inning.

Anyone see if Pena was hit or not?

 

2-1 count and a high/inside pitch, would've been 3-1 with bases loaded and one out. Rays announcers called it a ball but Welke said it hit Pena. The Rays argued it didn't. Anyone?

Couldn't tell if Pena was hit or not. Pena didn't sell it like Jeter. :lol:

The announcers from WDAE in Tampa acted like it didn't hit him.

The Rays lineup stinks. Pena is hitting 4th & he's under .200. Baldelli is 5th & wasn't even on a roster until recently. He has played in 10 games & has less than 30 AB's. Shoppach (catcher) is also hitting under .200. I think Texas will upset them...
