I think Garrard is probably the number two team in the district. I believe the Lions are definitely better than Taylor and likely Casey. It will be tough to beat Somerset on Friday night, but that's why you play the games.

I won't argue Garrard is the No. 2 in the district. I just think it is a very, very, very distant second compared to Somerset. I am not sure anyone in the 3A is a close second to them right now. There are very few upsets on the HS level because the talent disparity is so great. In college and the NFL I can go with the "that's why you play the game" because the talent level disparity is not as great but unless Somerset catches some kind of flu bug or forgets to come to the game I just don't see Garrard coming close.

 

The Garrard program as a whole is getting better. I wish them the best as they continue to move in a positive direction.

I think you are right about Garrard being #2 in the district. Somerset has just proven themselves to be a very, very good team this year (and last year). If Garrard can upset the Jumpers on Friday night it would definitely be front page news. Last season the Lions lost by 14 to Somerset and it would be nice to close that a little this year. But undoubtedly the Jumpers are the prohibitive favorite.
