The Bulldogs served up a double dose of Harbin Cow tonight to Dayton Dunbar. As NCF pointed out DD was 3-2 and the teams they beat were combined 1-14. This is just ugly, real ugly, just like Ironton hitting Ashland right on the chin.

 

Is Male another Harbin Cow? Could we actually see Male in the finals against Trinity? At least T beat a weak Elder team before donating to the Bomber Harbin Cow Fund...

I know this win for Dayton Dunbar will get them close to the top 8 in their Region 12 D-III which is what they need to qualify for the playoffs. I know NCF mentioned the wins against weak teams, but their two losses were to, Germantown Valley View and Trotwood-Madison.

 

So to answer your question is Male another Harbin Cow? YES especially if they win their final 3 regular season games.

I agree it was an ugly loss. I didn't attend the game, but I wonder if there was a little bit of a letdown from the Central, St X, and Ballard games the past 3 weeks. That's no excuse for losing a game you probably should have won. Male needs to develop more of a passing game to be successful later this season.

Someone (Guru) explain to me how this game hurts Male's chances in the playdowns? Is Coach Chris willing to show new plays for teams to see in the future? Did the loss give Male a bad seed? Game meant nothing but pride, just like other 6A teams losing to Ohio teams, no big deal. There is no BCS ranking.

 

I also didn't go, I wanted to watch Smallville! If it was a Disctict game, I'd tape S-ville.

We lost by 6, didn't pass very well. But my point was..I'd rather lose to Dayton than Fern Creek. So, did the Male staff choose not to run some things? I'm not sure. If Male doesn't advance with this loss to Dayton...
