I would suppose that Green would call this playing up in competition. I was at the game and there was not much of a game IMO. Green has a way to go to get back to the level of the past three years and they will be lucky to take third in the district. But I will say they turned it on against the 1a powerhouse of Campbellsville:isurrender:!!!

So Green County kept scoring til the cows came home?

Green has some weapons no doubt, but they really lack the OL they’ve had in the past, I wasn't impressed at all with that part of their team. They are a dangerous team and McDermott (sp?) is a better passer than I expected even though he has an awkward release. All in all I would say Green is a solid team, but not near as talented as last year’s team.

So Green County kept scoring til the cows came home?

Coach Griffiths must have attended an ethics camp this summer because he actually put the JV in, which ended the scoring for Green and allowed Campbellsville to scroe...

Yes the cows were warming up on the hill...mmmmooooooooooo!!!!! In all seriousness, Green has a lot of team speed but lack the OL and size to keep pounding at teams. It was a shock to see them actually line up in a florida offense and attempt to throw. My hats off to the offensive cordinator. They actually looked very balanced but kinda out of sinc....but it is very early for these young players my thoughts are that if they do not come together soon it may be a short playoff for the Dragons!!!
