September 14, 201016 yr Author Just talked to my buddy that got them...We're getting them for every game! :dancingpa: :dancingpa: Gonna be shelling over some serious cash, but since we didn't get Bengals tickets this year, it won't be too bad. When did this happen? I thought you were still getting them? Did you sell your seating license?
September 14, 201016 yr I have a weekend package with 3 buddies. Our 20 game package (x 4 seats) enabled us to buy 4 tix for the playoffs. Since we only have a partial package, we did not get our regular seats. Our playoff tix are not nearly as good as our regular season tickets. A few friends of mine have the exact same situation. They're still lower level though, and I'd be more than willing to buy the seats. FWIW, I got denied too (and so did everyone I know) except two friends. I'm interested to know where the seats will be. Are they really first come first serve? That sounds like the makings for a lot of peeved fans. FWIWX2, only 12,061 fans tonight.
September 14, 201016 yr When did this happen? I thought you were still getting them? Did you sell your seating license? Last minute. And the Bengals rewarded us for canceling by giving us each two tickets to the Bengals/Ravens home opener. We just decided it was just as easy to have grillouts and at home "tailgating", and it saved a lot of money. No, we didn't sell the PSL. We didn't really think about that until it was too late.

Well that was nice of them. Can you still sell it or is it back to the Bengals? I am kind of regretting them this year, not because I think they will be bad just it's a lot of money. I could just buy NFL Sunday Ticket for half that.

No, they sent us a letter with the two tickets saying they had released our PSL's....We're contemplating the switch to DirectTV for the Sunday Ticket.
September 14, 201016 yr Author No, they sent us a letter with the two tickets saying they had released our PSL's....We're contemplating the switch to DirectTV for the Sunday Ticket. Oh I see well that's why they did that, you pretty much gave $700 back to them. DirecTV is the way to go for any sports fan. I don't think I will ever switch to anything else.

Are you saying because they can sell the tickets and PSL's again? Because our liscense was only $300 total. But anyways, back to Reds and the playoff ticket lottery.

September 14, 201016 yr Yeah if you just let the seats get released then you basically forfeit your money back to Mike Brown, who then re-sells your PSL's. He's essentially running a more profitable used bookstore.

September 14, 201016 yr Dang, I wasn't even aware that so many people would be denied. I got accepted and didn't think much other than "I guess this is how I'm getting myself to the playoffs". Out of curiousity though, what did the denial say?
