Don't forget that Shelby County lost the bulk of their team to Collins. The Rockets were 9-3 in Class 6A last season. But this version will struggle this year after losing nearly everything to their new neighbors.

Heard LaRue really dominated the game even though it was only a 12 point game. Apparently LaRue had a couple turnovers deep in Shelby county territory on a couple occasions, to go along with two touchdowns called back that ended with drives stalling out deep in Shelby territory.

 

Going from who Shelby has played in two, top 10 6A teams with Nelson County and Tates Creek, then a LaRue team that aways seems to hold there own, its hard to tell what kind of team they really have. Shelby definately got the raw end of the deal with the new Collins. Hopefully the Rockets can catch some breaks and wind up having a good season!
