mexitucky Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 Yeagle was fortunate enough to have something like 6 out of 7 classes being exceptional after he took over. The only class that wasn't all that great was '97 and they wound up working out real well w/ the class of '98 to win state in '96. I'm not sure that Eddie is going to get the numbers he needs. It seems like they are pretty thin right now. The good thing about NewCath is that you know that you are going to get athletes and football players. The bad thing is that, in a down cycle, you aren't going to have much depth. That being said, I don't see many coaching staffs working as hard as NewCath's, so if they don't go on a run, it won't be for lack of preparation.
