I hear the ND turf is very nice and fast. This is a huge advantage for the girls who practice on it and then welcome in other teams who normally play on grass. They are better at handling the ball on a fast surface I am sure then teams that expect the ball to come at a certain speed off grass.

But the same can then be said of players that practice on turf and then have to play on fields like Pendry or Tower Park, with the bumps and ruts and brittle clumps. The team that practices under those conditions, on poor grass, would have an advantage of knowing the speed of the surface, the irregular pitch etc....Right?

Good point! I believe that is where 'Home Field Advantage' came from.....

Add Cooper to the list of nearly unplayable grass fields. Absolutely terrible condition for soccer.
