Class 5A

1. Highlands vs. 6A #4 Ryle

2. Bowling Green vs. 6A Daviess County (at Rash Stadium)

3. John Hardin at 4A Marion County

4. Johnson Central vs. 6A Cooper

5. Pulaski County vs. Harlan County (at Somerset)

6. Owensboro vs. Evansville Reitz, IN (at Rash Stadium)

7. Christian County vs. 6A Henderson County

8. Letcher County Central at 2A Middlesboro

9. Whitley County vs. 1A Lynn Camp

10. Warren Central at 4A #7 Franklin-Simpson

I completely understand Cov Cath dropping off following the Ryle game, but Whitley County loses 46-27 to a 4A Lexington Catholic and moves up from tenth to ninth? Sounds a little questionable to me.

(Not to mention, they're also following that up with a not-so-imposing contest against 1A Lynn Camp - 0 and 1, and only ranked tenth in 1A pre-season polls.)

Glad to see Warren Central getting some love! The Dragons are definitely moving the right direction under Rogers!

I was thinking the same thing. IF Cov Cath beats Lex Cath this week, how does that effect the rankings?
