Had the opportunity to attend the Run for the Roses basketball tournament this weekend in Lexington. My daughter is playing with the Central Kentucky Angels. It was very exciting to see the multitude of talented teams from all over the nation and the multitude of college coaches in attendance. CKA has girls from all over the state. They really played well and finished 4-1. They are off to the "Battle of the Boro" this week in Murfreesboro, TN.

Thats great. Was that in the Silver or Gold bracket? Also what bracket will the Angels be playing in at MTSU?

They were in the silver bracket in Lexington. They registered for the Gold, but were left off the schedule. By the time it was caught and corrected, they could only get into the silver. They will be playing in the elite division at MTSU. My wife accompanied my daughter so I will post some updates throughout the week.

Is that the top division? I thought the Showcase was the top division.

I found out that there were scheduling issues again for the CKA. They were supposed to be in the top division but ended up in the next division.
