What does Owen County need to do to improve in 2010/2011? What do they need to keep doing to be sucessful? Remember, please be constructive.

Coach Duvall has a good young group. They may be a year away from big things, but there is a lot of talent in Owenton. Williams is a quality big. Osborne is a good shooter with size. Ripey is a good point guard. They have some unproven players to choose from to fill out the lineup. Ball, Shelton, and the younger Williams are some young talent you will hear about for several years. This could be a very good team for Owen by the end of the year.

Sawyer Williams impressed the dickens out of my last year. Didn't look like he had enough "meat on the bones" to hold his own inside against more muscular posts, but I was impressed by his mobility, tenacity, and effort. Could be one of the best bigs in the region facing the basket and moving with the ball. Ripey really developed into an excellent point last season. Owen may fly under the radar - but at the expense of those who do so. I look for a solid season in Owenton.
