It was sad when it happened, but if I were a rock star, I can only think of two other ways I'd like to go. Heck, given how much Sandman enjoyed playing live -- it's been said he could be counted on for weekly appearances at several Boston clubs while not touring -- he probably had a huge smile on his face when he realized what was going on.
