Man, I started to go to both games/Butler. Sounds like a great game.

Both pitchers went eight innings....Isbell for Male and Fuchs for Trinity. Too bad someone had to lose this one. Male pushed across the go ahead run on a one-out squeeze in the top of the 8th. Bases were loaded for Trinity when the final out was made....a flair into right that looked like it might fall. Superb high school game!

I would hope that now the Trinity Athletic Department and School Administration would begin the search for a new Baseball Coach with a proven success rate, so that the program can advance and be able to win a State Championships in Basebsall, as they did with Coach Beatty in Football and Coach Szabo in Basketball.

Coach T is a good person but not the leader that the youth need in this program.

Are you kidding? Coach T has done very well. A one run loss in the regional final and you're ready to make a change? That's as silly as the Ballard bunch last year. How did that work out for them?

Tompkins is one of the best coaches in Kentucky. When did Trinity win state in Basketball? I must have been asleep because I thought this year they got eliminated by Male in Region. Football is totally different. Beatty and Coverdale do outcoach the rest of the state. Their offense is complex and virtually unstoppable. In baseball, the offense for the most part is up to one individual at the plate. Miss by an 8th of an inch and its a strike, foul ball or an out. In football, you miss by 8th of an inch you just line up 11 guys and go for it on 2nd, 3rd or 4th down.
