Next week there will be a huge summer matchup between Teacher and Student as Montgomery County (Coach Keith Griesser) plays Woodford County (Coach Scott Hundley). This should be an interesting match-up, I am sure you will see much of the same stuff happening on both ends of the floor for both teams with similar systems in place. I believe this game will be held at Woodford County, should be a good time! Each team has All-State (to be) performers in Jay Johnson from Woodford and Omar Prewitt from Montgomery.

Why are they playing basketball games in June?

High school basketball goes on in June. Practices, scrimmages, team camps, etc.

 

But I don't think I would term any game this month as huge, as was in the initial post. Intriguing maybe, but definitely not huge.

I agree, little bit over hype for a summer game, most mean nothing!

I know its not huge, just trying to add some excitement to a summer game.
