I think the primary question for CovCath is whom will CovCath throw on Monday vs. Holmes?

 

Will Coach Krumps throw Warning or will he go instead with Gerwe, Brueggman or Shumate? :idunno:

 

Holmes will throw Tommy Courtney and you can mark that down right now!

 

Holmes can indeed hit the ball, so CovCath had better not be looking forward to playing the winner of the Cov Holy Cross vs. Beechwood game or CovCath will be sitting in the stands at Champion Window Field, instead of playing on the field.

 

The huge difference between these two teams is the "D". CovCath defense has been outstanding all year long but Holmes defense has been the reason for their record.

 

CovCath needs to get on the score board early, to let Holmes understand, that they are not going to pull the upset this year as Ludlow did in 04.

Krumps would be crazy not to pitch Warning. Warning's been their best pitcher this year and is on a roll. You lose this game with Warning in RF and no longer is Krumps considered as one of the top two managers in NKY. Not that CCH can't win with several of their other pitchers, it's just that Warning gives them the best chance. Winning the district is great, but second place ain't that bad. Sometimes the district winner draws a tougher first round Region opponent than the second place district team.

Definitely. CCH can get by Holmes throwing Gerwe or Schlagbaum. Not saying Holmes is that weak offensively but Gerwe and Schlagbaum are no slouches either. The smart move is to throw Warning in the District Championship.

You are crazy not to throw your best in the game against Holmes, whoever you think that is. Remember also, HC and Beechwood are throwing their best against each other as well. You have to get to Region in order to win it. Take no chances.
