First round game of the Coach Connor Classic held at Dixie Heights.

 

I don't have any hitting stats but the offense put up an 8 spot in the 4th. Very good offensive game from the Colonels.

 

The biggest stat line however came on the mound for Dixie.

 

Brice Smallwood: 5 IP, 0 H, 11 K, 4 BB

 

Congrats Brice on the no hitter. Striking out 11 of the 15 batters that recorded outs is outstanding. Also congrats on committing to Morehead State University.

 

After this game Dixie went to a record of 21-5.

 

Brilz pitched for the Tigers with Matt Brennan coming in as relief.
