Business Trivia - Top 10 Brands

Featured Replies

Business Week has come out with a list of the top 100 brand names in the world. I thought it might be fun to let the BGP crew try to name the top 10. I will acknowledge correct answers and post a link to the story once we have the top 10.

Now that I think about it, McDonalds by a long shot has to be top 10.

Microsoft too is one I think about since it was really the first BIG computer industry to get going.

Coke is #1.

Microsoft is #2.

McDonald's is #9.

UPS and Nike are in the top 40 but not the top 10.

Three down and seven to go. There are a couple of hard ones but most of them should come to mind rather quickly.

The car industry has to be one of them. I'd say a foreign brand would have to be more prominent overall in the world.

So I'd have to say the two most popular which would be Volkswagen and Toyota.

Google

^Thats a good one, I should've thought of that. They are becoming the new Microsoft right now. I read something about the comparison awhile ago. I'll see if I can rustle it up somewhere.
