April 30, 201016 yr Harry Reid is far from a favorite of mine ... personally, it won't hurt my feelings to see him get beat in November, even if his opponent is an idiot, too. Bunning, however, doesn't have any room to talk. I agree, and IMO none of them have any room to talk. I can't think of a single one that's earning OUR money.:madman:

April 30, 201016 yr Pretty weak on most peoples part for not raising cane over Reid calling the republicans Anti American and then whining about a "dirtbag" like McConnell. Democrats give their all to this country and it's citizens while republicans do nothing but rape and pillage the "poor" they have created. Shame on Mitch and Bless Harry's heart. That's awful hypocritical, don't you think, considering we just got through eight years of anyone not agreeing with Republicans being labeled "anti-American?"
April 30, 201016 yr That's awful hypocritical, don't you think, considering we just got through eight years of anyone not agreeing with Republicans being labeled "anti-American?" Hypocritical, hypocrite, hypocrisy are words (when arguing politics) that mean so little. A whole lot like the word racist...So over used and misunderstood that it should be taken out of the dictionary. I Know, I know...I just need to accept the fact I'm wrong for opposing Obama and the democrat's policies. And if I don't mention everything that some republican did (that I might not agree with) when I oppose Obama, I guess I should put my my hypocrite hat on. Same goes for you brother, be ready to cut democrats when cutting republicans, or put your hat on. All of us sound like hypocrites anymore. We, as a nation, are more fundamentally divided than anytime I can remember. The ONE elected to unite us has not come through yet. And the people that oppose his policies are to blame.

I think you're misreading my comments as though I'm somehow expressing support for Obama. I have zero faith in Obama, and most other Dems for that matter. That's why I changed my registration to Independent last summer after decades of disappointment with Democrats, and all but disengaged from national politics. I just dislike McConnell intensely, and think he and his lackeys do wrong by Kentucky with their tactics.

I must admit that a few years ago I sort of liked McConnell because he was a republican from Kentucky that had risen nationally. After watching him abuse his "power" here at home and become one of the biggest participants in the Washington orgy over the past couple of years, I would love to see him out. Can he be beaten? One thing is certain, he will no longer be getting my vote.
