May 3, 201016 yr I agree that it is a bit of a double standard, but Spikes did fall in the draft. He was a possible 1st rounder last year, and coming into the season I think Mel and McShay had him top 15-20. Also from watching both players, I think Spikes is better at all other parts of the game than Micah is. He can get off blocks, he's nasty in a blitz, and he has great instincts. I love Micah, but in comparing the two it's easy to see why Spikes was more coveted. Sure he ran a 5.0 in the 40, but whenever you watched him at UF he was in on every tackle.
