FWIW, I don't buy the Gates to Tebow comparison either. Tebow has great combine numbers, but I don't think he has the pure athleticism that Gates does.

 

I was shocked to read that they're pretty similar statures. Tebow is 6'3'' 240. Gates is 6'4'' 260.

I find it ironic that those who vehemently oppose & ridicule the move assume that Denver will use it with their first pick.

 

For a guy who apparently won't be able to play any position in the NFL, there sure is a lot of chatter about him going in the first round.

 

I thought I heard he's going to be live at the draft. Usually guys don't go unless they've been tipped off they will go in the 1st round. Just a thought. I think Tebow is one of the most intriguing picks in recent memory. Who knows when or where he will go!
