So what are your thoughts?

As someone who didn't attend this game but did attend three today and did post about all three I did attend, why not tell us what you know about this game!

Any stats? Wasn't able to attend as I still stationed at Fort Knox but would like to try and stay up to date. Who pitched? Any big hits?

I didnt attend the game either but my son was there because he had to work the tournament. He said Stansberry pitched the whole game. He also said it seems as if the Colonels have busted out of their hitting shells. He said Leon hit the ball real well, Dematteo hit real well and Sexton hit well. They all 3 went 2-3. Dematteo had 2 rbi's with a double and single. Leon was said to have had 1 rbi while having 2 singles and Sexton had 1 rbi while having a double off the wall and a single. Klei also had a triple. Devandro pitched for the Rebels.

Dixie Heights 9, Boone County 3

WP -Stansberry (2-1, 8 K's); LP -Devandry. Leaders: D -Popham 2 RBI; Klei 3B; Leon 2-3; Sexton 2-3, 2B. B -Teagarden 2B; Cotton HR, 2 RBI. Records: D 15-2.

This was a very good win for the Colonels against a tough Boone team. Dixie really seems to be establishing itself offensively as of late putting up some pretty decent numbers. Pitching has been more than solid and another nice performance out of Stansberry.

Impressive win for the Colonels.
