Middle or the week, or even weekend. As someone said in another thread, a lot of these all star games are only a big deal to those who put them on, don't get me wrong, they may be nice, but they are about a dime a dozen now.

 

This is the fourth Jr all star game I am aware of this month, they just don't have the appeal, I even think that the KY Jr all star game Vs Indiana is not going to happen this year, and it just start last year. Too many of the good players are playing on AAU/Club teams this time of year to play in most of these events, some players will turn them all down, some may pick one, but most want to play with their AAU/Club team this time of year.

 

I believe this is the one that Zollo and Stenzel turned down because of AAU conflict.

Just got word on how the GRC boys did, Zollo and Daniels. Vinny had 30 points and Jaylan had 28 points. Jaylan also won the slam dunk contest. Stenzel did not play.

His contributions weren't just as a referee either. Mr. Lowe, who I knew, also was the owner of Lowe's Sporting Goods in London, Corbin and Pikeville. There are a lot of contributions Mr. Lowe as the owner of Lowe's Sporting Goods.

He is one of the nicest and generous folks that I have ever known. I was lucky to have him as a friend.:thumb:
