I look for him to have a big year. I keep going back and forth on Pedroia, Bay and Ellsbury. Make your case for one of the three! is it roto or H2H? How many teams? Which other second baseman are being kept? If you throw back Pedroria who is the 3rd/4th best second baseman, who will you get? Can you still grab Phillips on the way back down who is rated around the 7th best 2b? I still think your in a good situation. You either keeping a top 5 2b, with a top 10 outfielder, or your keeping two top 10-15 OF's.

There are tons of OF's in the later rounds who will get you steals (Pierre, Davis, Bourn, etc) so for me that would virtually eliminate Ellsbury. With Pedroia you get a 2B who in just his second year put up these stats: .326 BA, 118 R, 17 HR, 20 SB, 83RBI That's an awesome stat line for a 2B and he is still very young so probably hasn't tapped into his full potential. I believe the 20 SB's will stay right at that and the HR's have the potential to go up just a hair. Couple those two with a .300+ BA, a guaranteed 100+ R's, and good RBI totals for a MI and you got yourself a winner there.
April 3, 201016 yr Bay is a wildcard. The guy should have the most fantasy value, but I don't know how he'll hit in the Mets ballpark. Pedroia is solid. He's probably your best bet. I had Ellsbury last year and loved it. He won me SB single-handedly some weeks. As formerkywrestler alluded to, steals are plentiful around the league this year. It looks like Juan Pierre & Scott Podsednik will both be leading off for their teams. Michael Bourn had a great year last year. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three. Bay has the highest ceiling, followed by Pedroia. Ellsbury will be hitting 9th, but I'm not sure that it's going to make a huge difference in the AL. I would take Pedroia just because he's a sure thing to be a top 3 - 5 player at his position...
