The pros: He comes from a school that played in the 1A state title game last year and Russell clearly has an opening at the QB position.

 

The cons: He is only a sophomore and I've heard people express concern about his size (or lack thereof).

They play East Carter at home the week before playing at Greenup, but yes, the Greenup game is on a Saturday again. I wish there were more Saturday games. I look forward to seeing Raceland's opener with Boyd County on Saturday in week 1. It seems like the area teams could do this more often. I think one game for each one of the following weekends should be moved to a Saturday.

I'm not sure what you've been watching, but they're not blazing fast. Russell is capable of winning 8 and capable of losing 8. Should be fun to watch, but they have no burners. Just seem average now but I've seen a bunch who, if they come together could have a respectable year.
