Wed night: Madisonville vs. Hopkinsville and Henderson vs. Livingston Central

Thur night: Christian Co. vs Hopkins Co. Central and Lyon Co. vs Webster Co

Heard today that the 2nd Region gets the 4th Region's refs. My condolences.

Hopkins Co. Central has had a nighmare with injuries this year. Hate this happen to these seniors. They had such high hopes for this year.

The first and last games are the two games "on paper" that should be the best.

 

Madisonville and Hopkinsville played to a 1 point game during the season. Henderson Co. is a real good shooting team but they dont really have an inside game. Livingston is young and is back in the regional tournament. They should go on a run for several years, if they can handle the half court trap of Henderson they could cause problems on the inside defense of Henderson.

 

The second night has the heavily favorite Christian Co. Colonels playing against Hopkins Co. Central. I would like for the Storm to have a good showing, but their inexperience at guard play will be exposed by the pressing defense of Christian. The final game should be very entertaining. Webster Co. has surprised everyone this year in the region. Lyon Co. has a solid team also. Neither one has a lot of depth, but it should be a very close game.

 

The tournament is at Madisonville but I dont think anyone can defeat Christian County.
