Big night for the Colonels as it is Senior Night

Just wondering if the fans from the 11th Region can give us some insight into the Madison Central Team. Madison Central is currently 8-18 but I know nothing about their team.

 

 

 

I predict two Cov. Cath. seniors will not start the Senior Night game tonight. Talk about a thankless job. No matter how Coach L plays it, he is going to have (at least) 2 families mad at him. On further review, maybe Coach L. will start all seven seniors and take the T.

Coach L. shouldn't have put himself in this predicament in the first place. There is no reason to have 7 seniors on this varsity squad. I'm glad the young men got to be involved in the basketball season but, this isn't a recreational team. You don't just take kids for the sake of taking kids so feelings won't be hurt. I think Coach L. has a big heart, but, in the end, keeping 7 seniors just hurt the team. Frustrated athletes, frustrated parents and frustrated fans. Coach L. needs to learn from his mistakes this year - next season keep the seniors who are going to make a difference to the team and cut the rest. He can't afford to have another season with 7-8 seniors taking spots from talented juniors and sophomores that need to be developed.

 

I hope the seniors tonight have a great time. I think they all know what their individual roles have been on the team this year and I don't think there will be any starting surprises. I hope they all get good playing time and come away from tonight's game with great memories. I heard the CCH art students have had some fun with painting caricatures of each senior that will be hanging in the gym. I hope the rest of the crazies turn out to support their team!
