Walton Verona 46 Gallatin County 44 OT

Featured Replies

Final from Warsaw. Walton offensively rebounds missed free throw with 6.8 seconds left in OT. Gallatin steals pass, advances ball up the court for a good look from three that won't fall. Good effort from Gallatin but Walton escapes with a win.

WV escapes with a win in a very lackluster performance. They were out hustled and played as if they were only going through the motions. No intensity or execution at all. Sure didn't play like they are a regional contender tonight. But a win is a win.

Gallatin's defense was pretty good last night. Might have had something to do with it.

I thought Gallatin played with a lot of energy on both ends. Coach Roberts had a very good game plan. A bounce one way or the other and it is a different outcome. I know officials take a beating most time, but I thought the game was very well officiated. Maybe the best game I've seen this year.
