Why is Scott in this regional tournament? They just won the 37th District Freshman tournament and will represent that District in the 10th regional tournament. Also, Simon Kenton is not in the 9th region.

All teams in the conference are invited to play yet some chose not to (i.e., Newport & Lloyd dropped out since Lloyd is not hosting a small school regional tourney). As a result, 14 teams are playing in the tourney this year.

 

Two #1 seeds are given to the two top teams in Division I & Division II based upon the record against conference opponents. The rest of the teams are included in a blind draw.

Its not a 8th, 9th or 10th region tournament per se. Its an NKAC tournament in which Scott is a member of.

 

You are right Scott did win the 37th district tournament and will be playing in the 10th Region Final Four at Mason County. They have a very tough weekend and week coming up. They will play Conner on Sat. in the NKAC tourney and will play Mason County on Sunday. If they get by Mason County they will play in the 10th Region Championship that same evening and then turn around on Monday and play in the NKAC tournament again if they defeat Conner. :isurrender:

I would say that Highlands/Boone Co are favorites in their game but Highlands wont play until 6pm on Saturday against the winner of St. Henry/Holmes.
