I would like to hear how the other teams are doing and who they have beaten and lost to so far this season. This is the final week of the regular season. Here is a summary of Highlands and how they have faired so far.

10-5

Wins

Newport- Birds roll by 20+

Cooper-big win at home over a big physical Cooper squad. 6 pt win.

Boone Co- big win on the road 34-28.

New Cath- OT win- Birds played with Inspiration, most I have seen all year.

Bellevue-Blowout

Holy Cross- easy victory, 1st of season.

Dixie Heights- McCoy hits game winner.

Ryle-very solid win by 12pts.

Campbell Co- nice win at home, off night but still took care of business.

Conner- big road win for Birds against a pesky well coached team.

Losses

Brossart- Stangs were hungry and Birds took the night off.

CovCath- Birds up big after 1st then outplayed the rest of the game by IMO the most talented and deepest team they have faced in NKY thus far.

Lakota East- neck and neck until end. 7pt loss

St. Henry -lost on buzzer beater as Jake Hils hits 3 to win it down by 2.

Scott- very good game until Scott's depth pulled away in 4th qtr.

Remaining games- SK (tonight), Beechwood (Thurs) and Holmes on Saturday.

Then on to the CovCath Tourney.

Should be very good Freshman Tournament. Boone County Freshman have lost to Scott (but beat them in Holy Cross tourney later), Highlands and Cooper.

Boone beat Cov Cath in OT last night and Cov Cath has beat Highlands who beat Boone.

Boone beat Conner, but lost to Cooper who Conner beat this week.

Sounds like any NKY frosh team can beat the other on any given night.

St Henry is 13-9 but seems to be playing much better in the past couple weeks.

Brossart has had a nice season, heading into the post-season with a 17-6 record.

Wins over Highlands, Scott, Campbell County, St. Henry, and Newport.

Losses to Simon Kenton, NCC, LexCath, Cooper, Boone (HC Tny), Scott (HC Tny)

Sounds like any NKY frosh team can beat the other on any given night.
