Papa traveled to the Den tonight to watch the battle of the rhyming schools. Nice to sit with old friends and watch a pretty entertaining game.

 

Tied at half, Deming scored the first 8 points coming out of the break. Finally ran out of gas late in the game; not helped by having Kyle King in foul trouble the entire contest. Great game from Austin Stitt off the bench.

 

Dagger was the 3 by Josh Gray after a Black Devil turnover with a couple minutes to play. Fleming made their freebies down the stretch and put a close game away.

 

Neither team has a lot of size, but both run, run, then run some more. If either team has a hot hand shooting they can put up the points.

Thought Austin Stitt played a great game off the bench tonight with 12 points.Pilosky and Schalch did also..

Deming is a team who has underachieved big time this season.

I heard the fifth foul on King was HIGHLY questionable.
