Mid-Season Report

Featured Replies

Just wanted to let everyone know we are currently doing a "Mid-Season Report" at the Bluegrass Hoops Report. So far we've done interviews with J'town coach Jeff Morrow, Lindsey Wilson College coach Paul Peck, and we posted our Fab 15 team rankings and Top 20 players rankings.

By the end of the week we will have interviews posted with Shelby Valley's Elisha Justice, Franklin County's Vance Hall, and a few other top coaches and players. There will also be some more features on local NAIA schools.

Who else would you like to see us do a Q&A with?

If we're using those ten as the top 10 players in the state, I'd have them in the following order:

1. Josh Sewell

2. Ricardo Johnson

3. Elijah Pittman

4. Ge'Lawn Guyn

5. Chane Behanan

6. Thomas Jackson

7. Chad Jackson

8. Elisha Justice

9. Donovan Gibbs

10. Vinny Zollo

I'm not sure Guyn has done enough this year to deserve the 3rd spot. I know he's had some health issues and has a nice upside but I'm just saying his production to date doesn't warrant this high of a rating.

I would move Keiston Jones in the top 10 as he has been the leader of an excellent Ballard team and move Gibbs down, if you have to replace a player.

I agree...Chad Jackson, Thomas Jackson, and Chane Behanan have all been more impressive than Guyn this year.

Jones from Ballard is a phenomenal leaper and may not get Top 10 list but could lead the Bruins to a State Title.

He also has developed a nice jumper, hitting several threes in many games.

Will be a great player at Bellarmine!

He is a very good player, but statistically I would agree with your post. I'm sure he is very frustrated (I read it was tendinitis in both knees). I wonder if playing year round has some to do with that.
