Gallatin County 41 Williamstown 39

Featured Replies

Its going to be painful when the Demons go back and look at this tape. I counted 5 or 6 missed uncontested layups. I thought they should be up by 15 at half time.

Tough loss for Williamstown. They never gave up and gave themselves a chance at the end. Nice win for Gallatin. Good luck to Coach Roberts and her Lady Wildcats in the finals.

The Lady Demons did give a good fight but did miss a lot of opportunities.

I have zero stake with any of the four teams that played last night. I was a true neutral observer. Gallatin benefitted from some late calls that should have been play on situations. Williamstown did miss crucial free throws and layups.

I will concede that their is a nominal advantage of playing at home and Gallatin got every bit of it. I wish I could see the final tonight but have boys LIT duty.

Gallatin always enjoys an advantage of playing at home (boys and girls). Been this way for years. However, Williamstown did miss some opportunities.

Gallatin was ripe for the pickin last night but Williamstown could not cash in on the numerous opportunities that they had. Gallatin will need to play much better if they are to make a repeat trip to Richmond.

Well congrats to Gallatin with the win. I would like to see them beat WV tonight as I am sure everyone else would also. Good luck ladycats.

You can't teach agressiveness now can you?

Sounds to me like somebodys team who gets beat a lot at Gallatin both boys and girls.

A lot of teams enjoy advantages of playing at home. That is way it is called home court advantage. If Williamstown hit the shots they should have hit, this would have never been brought up. You cannot miss uncontested lay-ups and free throws and expect to win at home or on the road. Gallatin made the plays when it counted and they pulled out the win.

Couldn't agree more! If you won every game you would be State Champs.
