Highlands 21 13 8 8 -50

3-pointers: H 1 (Allen).

Wow - Conner did not hit one 3 pointer. Highlands must of done a great job with their perimeter defense.

Highlands played a very good game. There were some contested (hands in face) and uncontested three point shots for Conner. None of them went in.

Although they were down by 24 at the half, Conner never gave up and forced Highlands to keep their starters playing throughout the entire game.

Highlands "in your face" defense certainly caused problems for the perimeter shooting of Conner. Beasley had very few, if any wide open three balls. Birds played very well despite the absence of their vocal and sometimes animated bench coach Bert Richey being AWOL. Go Birds! 20n10
