I like the senior leadership on your team. Boone has Moss playing well and NCC always has the grit. Ryle might be a year away but it will be fun to photograph the action. From my seat, good luck to all teams, make it interesting.

It will be interesting! These seniors have a great deal of experience and I would love to see them get over the hump. Brutal stretch of games coming up will really test them. NDA, NCC, SHA, Conner, Boone County, Ryle over the next 17 days!!!

Keep in mind a loss doesn't hurt you until the tournament roles around. Until then it is all just a learning experience. Boone was a great example of that last season.

I thought Highlands would have already made it by now. This region is really up for grabs. There are some front runners, but the reality is that on a given night anyone could win.

Great teamwork by the Highlands vets. For the life of me why would anyone ever leave Katie Allen open on the wing. She is and has been money from there for like 6 years now. Congrats to the Birds.

 

You answered your own question. When the ball is moved around both inside and out and outside and in then you become very, very balanced and too many strenghts must be dealt with leaving yes Katie wide open on the wing and yes Towles and others wide open for layups. Up until last nite the Ladybirds has shown signs of greatness on given nites but on others it has not been so pretty. This was definately a "Statement" win for HHS last nite with the likes of NCC and Boone coaches in the stands. I saw NCC coach at Lex Cath tourney a few weeks ago and I can assure he was thinking last nite "this cant be the same HHS team" that I saw in Lex?" If HHS can ride this momentum into Friday then the showdown on "The Hill" should be a doosy. Great win for HHS before a very nice crowd. Keep working hard Birds! :thumb: 20n10.

I agree to an extent. Nobody likes to see any kid sustain and injury and be in pain. Maybe not real loud on the music but I do really hate the total quiet to where you can hear a pin drop and or a kid screaming and crying in pain. The kids are in great hands witht he trainer/doctors. Didnt this player recover and return to the game later? 20n10

I hope that NCC and HHS don't get paired up again in district, we all want to see them both battling it out at region.
