Cross Town Rivalry with lots of emotion. Wasn't at the game but heard there were lots and lots of fouls called. I was told that the foul count was in Western Hills favor.

Riddle for Hills scored 24 points connecting on only two field goals. Is this correct???????

Hard to consider in anyone's favor. This one was ugly. Prob 100+ free throws shot.

Congrats to the Flyers. Always a rough one when you play Hills. Good comeback from the last second loss to St. X. :thumb:

The better team won in the end. Hills made it an ugly game, but in the score reflected the correct outcome.

FC had 33 fouls called on them, while Hills had 29. Both team shot and made the exact number of free throws, so they were just a wash. It just made for an ugly game.

Hall had 25 and Riddle had 24(2 fgs) for each team.

These team will meet twice more, and possibly a third time this season. Will the games get uglier? Will one team try to take the other's star out? Are these the reasons there are so many fouls called? Do the refs need to protect the players or keep this game from escalating into something more like a backyard brawl?

It needs to be played in a cage! Remember the district finals last year? Several T's issued. The next game will be a war. I predict the National Guard may be needed for crowd control!

both teams went 39-48 at the line to combine for 96 free throws.

Riddle has 24 points (20 of them free throws)

Hall had 25 points (18 of them free throws)

Neither team ever got in a rhythym with all the whistles chirping, it honestly was not that physical but it took forever to play.

Both teams played really hard though.
