Seneca beat Eastern 65-57 in the semi's.

 

Trinity beat Clark Co 70-64 in the semi's.

 

Thoughts?

I watched Seneca dismantle an out-manned Knott team that played surprisingly little defense, so not much to be learned from that except the Redhawks have some very talented players. Their strength is their explosiveness on the break, and they are very unselfish.

 

However, this game will be played in the half court where Trinity excels...I like Trinity's chances in this one.

I like Trinity in this one. Thier defense has been unreal this year and I don't think Seneca will be able to stop the trio of Corbett, Sewell, and Epley.

I think this one is a toss-up.

 

If Trinity continues to defend and rebound as they have been, it will be tough for Seneca.

 

Seneca, on the other hand, brings great pressure so Trinity will have to handle that.

Trinity by 10+

 

Seneca won't be able to handle the Rocks' halfcourt defense and slow tempo.

The area that I think will help both teams in this game is their depth. Both can go 10 deep and I see that being a factor tonight. Bench play will be key for both teams.
