Last i heard, Asst. Coach Chris Mcnamee is getting a serious look, although nothing is definite just yet. Coach Mac excelled in 1987 when we won our 1st class A state championship by being named 1st team allstate on both defense & offense. Just hope he is as successful in the coaching world as he was a player. Will be glad to let you know anything that may develope.

Hate to hear that about Ben.

I second what many have said about Chris McNamee. Good solid person as well as a good football coach.

Hoping for the best for a place I've got a lot of fond memories.

We miss you coach . You did a great job during your tenure at P.H.S.,Imo. Best of luck!!

Mcnamee has already been the head coach at Pikeville and won a lot of games. Never could get past Beechwood. He got ran out of town to Pike Central and did a decent job there. So it looks like he has already been successful in the world.

Chris is a class act. I would love to have my son play for him.

Agree. Coach Mac has already been a success at Pikeville, and should have stayed there Imo., but the previous Adm. stupidly(or should i say"through politics") thought otherwise. I watched him play in High School and watched him coach at this School. He comes from a great family, and has a great football mind. If he is chosen, he's got my support 100 %. By the way, we had Beechwood beat at their place in 99', but an interception with something like a minute or less left in the game ended that. Hope we have another shot at that someday.
