Keylo might well be the Eagles' best all-around player, but I hope you took note of the fact that when Kellen Smith was not in the game (did not start), the Eagles struggled, and fell behind 11-0 or 11-2.

 

Enter Smith to take over the point guard duties and the Eagles rallied to take the lead. Keylo might be best "all-around", but imo Smith is MVP.

 

I completely agree. There was a reason why he led all of NKY last year in assists and was also top 10 in scoring as well. Kellen is a player.

Did not say he wasn't a good player just struggling the first few games this year. That happens his shot just isn't falling yet but I am sure it will. Right now Keylo and Niederrigger are the best out of the starting five but I am sure Kellen will be there soon.

Are you judging a PG by how much he scores? How many of Niederegger and Jones points come off passes from Smith where he has broken down defense or press and gives them wide open look on block?

 

Scott struggled to get the ball across half court against LexCath until he entered the game and LexCath was scoring at will. If you are judging him by points you are missing the game offensively and defensively.

 

Who on Scotts bench is ready to contribute? Farris is getting some minutes but other than that where is this bench help going to come from?

You are right he does play a good point and distribute the ball to open teammates. I was stating that he is struggling with his shot and scoring right now.

 

Scott has no bench you are right on that one but they might need to utilize some others other than just Farris. This will be the big thing for Scott as the season goes on this will make or break them especially when their starters are in foul trouble.
