How do Army-Navy get to play on December 12th then?

I guess the academies are not planning on bowl games. Bowl selections are on Sunday Dec. 6. Thye typically played on Thanksgiving weekend in the past I thought. I was not aware of their schedule this season.

With the number of fans UofL is drawing, the KHSAA should reserve Papa John's and UofL

could play at St. Xavier, Trinity, Manual, or Central depending on the number of losses they have going into the game.

Alan...ooh low blow! Why not have UK keep their stadium open for UL to use the first weekend of December if the Big East schedules a game for the Cards then. Papa John's is then available for the KHSAA finals and we'd see how many Card fans would travel to Lex. for a game. Great statewide cooperation!

I could live with that. But could the Blue or Red faithfull.

The Big East has a contract with ESPN and pretty much is at their mercy when it comes to scheduling. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, who knows....

And those decisions are not made until late May each year, long after hotels, and other necessary arrangements are booked up and not competitively priced.
