So what was illegal about that hit?

I am not sure. They called Helmet to Helmet. It wans't. I am sure at that speed the official thought it was.

They just make every effort to protect against violent hits to the head these days, like it or not it's how they officiate these days.

Another stop by the D. Lets go Offense put 7 on the board.

Trinity's own Scott Radcliff returns a punt. Love it when I hear local kids' names!

I hope DB is okay, but that hit was clean and a good one. Teams used to not throw that pass when the safety was over the top, I blame the play caller for that...

The hit is actually right below DB's chin, more of the shoulder pad is on his chest than head... But oh well, your right it's how games are called these days...

Yeah, it wasn't head-to-head... I think the ref thought it was. Honestly, I did to until the replay.

The call was "leading with the helmet". I thought it was marginal that he led with his helmet. I guess it's a call that could go either way.

28-14, Rutgers lead to start the 4th.

Just hard to watch, UofL has played better in the 2nd half... but this RU squad is very weak IMO. And they've basically dominated at UofL.

28-14, Rutgers with the ball and the lead under 6 to play.

UofL has played great defense in the 2nd half.

RU finally gets into the second half scoring, missed the EP.

34-14 RU with 3:52 remaining.

T-minus 3:52 left in the Kraggers era (hopefully).

On the bright side, Beaumont's x-rays are negative for injury, so he's going to be fine.

Glad to hear, feel bad for Dempsy getting hurt early and missing the game. He's been a good player.
