As an interesting footnote to Lone Oak's postseason, kicker Jack Coorts is now 3 PATs away from breaking the career PAT record currently held by Monte Merrick of Bell County, who kicked 216 extra-points from 2005-08. Interestingly enough, this is Coorts junior year so he still has his senior season to add even more.

So Lone Oak score a lot huh? :lol: J/K Good luck to this young man. Does he have any offers or looks for College Football?

No offers that I am aware of,,,he also plays on the offensive line for LO. Hopefully he will get an offer next year but has to work on his consistency on kickoffs.....

Coorts kick a 49 yard field goal against Russell County that would have been good from 60 to 65 yards. I was impressed with that boot. Does anyone know what the state record is ? I remember a Paul Dunbar kicker about 3 or 4 years ago hammering a 50 plus yard field goal against us. I would guess someone has kicked around a 55yd before.
