I know it's tough to beat a good team three times in a season but that is what NDA will be attempting to do tonight against the Cru.

 

Question... Would you rather be the team that won the first two matches or the team that has lost the first two matches?

 

IMO, I believe you want to be the team that has won the first two matches.

 

NDA v. St. Henry

I look for this game to be very close and going three. The first two matches were like that and I look for the same thing again. I look for NDA's seniors to carry the night with their leadership, poise, experience. We'll see.

 

Scott v. Ryle

All you need to do is win and advance at this point and that is what the favorite Scott team did against Beechwood. I would look for the same thing tonight against Ryle with Scott winning in two (18 and 16).

I would prefer to be the team that won the 2 previous match-ups but

in a match up between ST H and NDA I am not sure what you did previously against each other matters a lot. There are positives both ways, confidence for one, revenge for the other.

NDA has a more experienced team but St Henry has the more experienced coach. I expect a hard fought match going down to the wire. To close to call IMO.

 

I think Scott takes Ryle in 2.

Which NDA team will we see? The "first game" NDA team against BW and HC? If so, SHDHS has a chance. If not, might be over in 2.

As much as I would like to take credit for such a close prediction, I can't I was reporting the score and had the 1st game score wrong

Wow, NDA came ready to play last night, Coach Lanham had her team firing on all cylinders!!! Especially in the first game where, in my opinion, I thought the Pandas thoroughly dominated the Cru in every aspect. The second game was much more competitive.

 

Congratulations Coach Lanham on a job well done. You deserve a tremendous amount of credit for working through all the injuries your team has sustained this year to get back to the regional final!

 

Also, it looks like Assumption got beat last night in Louisville which really opens up the State Tournament next weekend at NKU.

 

The winner of the NDA/Scott match Saturday night has a very legitimate shot at reaching the semi finals of the state tournament where they will more than likely play Louisville Mercy.

The 'first game' NDA team against BW and HC didn't show up last night as you can tell by the score. I thought that was a big key in NDA's victory last night.

 

It was pretty impressive when, before 5pm the whole NDA team was already on the court dressed and stretched out in preperation for the match.

 

It looked like they were much more ready to start the match than St. Henry, IMO.

Agreed about the Scott game Saturday night. First things first....

 

The NDA matches versus Mercy and Sacred Heart both went 5 games and were 15 -12 and 15 -13 in the 5th game. However, NDA did win both matches!! Hopefully, NDA gets a chance to play and beat both these teams again next Saturday. Also, if memory serves me correct, against Mercy, their 'star' player went out early with an injury (Mercy's star player that is).

NDA looked very good last night. The Crusaders simply could not stop the middle attack. Liz Barton and Jaimie Wulfeck are both incredible athletes. The defense looked very good last night. A very good effort by the pandas.
