All great points…I guess what I was trying to say is that Somerset dropped several balls that normally would have been caught. At least 2 would have led to scores. Both were early and seemed to have rattled their rhythm a little and led to some of the so called stalls mentioned above. Both receivers have great hands and normally make the plays. Not making excuses or anything, I just thought we caused some of our own problems versus Estill causing them.

But you are correct; good chance the field conditions may be ugly the rest of the year. :thumb::idunno:

 

You can tell those receivers are used to catching those balls, not sure the reason for the dropped passes, and inaccurate throws but it was evident that's not a common trend in Somerset, they recovered nicely. The field conditions in Irvine will be very poor the rest of the year, the field is shot.
