No lowrie has recovered well. I was watching practice yesterday and there was no limp just him being a little out of shape. but i have no doubt in my mind that he will be a factor.

I think Lowrie will contribute. I was glad to see Petit had gotten his stride back.

Williamsburg has to win both games to win the district. The tiebreaker is not in their favor. Ryan Moses will see that the Jackets score. Petit and Perkins must step up on D for them to have a chance. The big boys have got to make some plays on D. Collins has been a one man wrecking crew on defense. He will need some help this week. They will also need to let Thomas play on D. He has a good combination of size and speed. The Jackets must not try to play undersized kids at the ends and linebackers. If they do the Eagles will run over them much like Harlan. Lowery if healthy will make a big differance at safety. The special teams also must play better. At times they have been horrendous this year.

The game is on Cat_n_the_Hat, I was told it was Campbellsville's call and they want to play it.

I said it before and I will say it again, I think that Williamsburg is the District Favorite, and they will outscore Campbellsville in this game. Yes Williamsburg has had problems with teams that run the ball but I think as the injured player return to the field Williamsburg will get better, even if they are not "contributing" immediately. Just the fact that they are returning will help the Jackets, if the guys can give 8-10 plays a game just to start then you are getting depth which has been a problem for the Jackets.

 

I think this will be a fairly high scoring game.....

I have seen a lot of kids come back from broken bones, and cannot see someone in their first game or two being an impact player. Yes, they are healed. It becomes a mental thing and as the game wears on and they run more, the limp usually returns. As the season goes on, they usually get better, but not to where they were before the injury. Usually takes the off season to return to 100%.

 

This will be a VERY physical game, IMO. People coming back from injuries and taking their first licks usually tells the tale.

 

Campbellsville had some kids out last week. How are they doing now?

No team Jason Chapel has ever coached has been physical, so I totally disagree that it will be a physical game, actually I think it is the best game for some of those kids to come back on, certainly better than your Cats, who are physical.

If you don't think Campbellsville is physical then you'll be surprised on Friday night. I'm not saying they'll win, but I promise you they'll hit.

sf, that is what I think, too. The game over here was a slug fest in the rain.

 

Unless there is a different C'ville that I have not seen showing up to play the Jackets, the Eagles looked physical enough over here. They compare favorably to Harlan, a team which gave the Jackets fits. Williamsburg can win this game, but the kids DO NOT need to go over there thinking that C'ville will lay down or not bring some big pops.
