I may drop to 1-2 and both losses will be because of doubting myself and making stupid last minute roster moves.

 

On the plus side, next week I have a bunch of players on bye, so I won't have the opportunity to doubt myself. :lol: :lol:

I did a dumb draft this year and loaded up on WR's instead of solid QB's.

 

I have Palmer and Favre. I do have Marshawn Lynch coming back this week though.

Again I sat Schaub in favor of Rivers. Do I make the switch or hang with Rivers?

Yeah true both are very good and could get you a solid RB/WR.

I have Ryan Grant, Deangelo Williams and Sproles at RB. Colston, Breaston, Chambers, and Santana Moss at WR. I'm weak at TE, but I can't see any TE, except Clark or Witten being worth one of my QBs. Any suggestions of who I might trade for?

2RB and 2 WR, can flex another into one of these positions. The interesting thing is we play individual defensive player. 2 DL, 2 LB, and 2 DB. LB usually winds up scoring a lot of points consistently, so I flex a 3rd LB. If i hang on tonight I will be 3-0. I won the league last year using this strategy.

Trade Moss while he's hot. Package Moss and Chambers, get an elite TE and 2nd level WR. Problem is, does the owner of Clark or Witten need to make a trade? If not, look at the 2nd level TE's. I personally think Celek is going to have a great year.

But, if you keep them, I'd just play the matchups. Schaub gets Oakland at home while Rivers travels to P'burgh. Easy decision there. But, if the matchups are similar, I'd probably go with Schaub more often than not. Of course, you could factor home and away games into your decision.

 

I'd definitely explore trade options to try to make my roster better elsewhere, but I wouldn't give either guy away if I wasn't getting fair value in return.

I like the security of having Schaub and Rivers. Free agents are very lean as we have 14 teams. My TE is Kellen "Soldier" Winslow, so I think I could have done better there. I'll probably wait and see how things play out. I will play Schaub this coming week:thumb:

I'd probably roll with Winslow. TE's are unpredictable and inconsistent, IMO. He could be as good as any after the elite guys.

 

That's why I said I wouldn't give one away without getting equal value. If you could trade one, or package one of them with another player to get a stud at RB or WR, I'd do it. But, I wouldn't trade one for some decent RB or WR just to add depth and can't be relied on consistently.

In the Unoffical BGP league, I have Boldin, D Jackson, Roddy White all with byes!

 

Need some guys to pick up!
