Dingle was on tonight. The defense is kicking some serious butt. Go Dawgs! 4-0

JH scored on the second play from scrimmage, and NC promptly drove the length of the field on the ensuing possession. But on 1st and goal from the 4, JH's Kaluen Marlow stepped in front of the NC receiver to pick of Martinez' pass to stop the drive. The snap to Martinez on the play was high, and he may have rushed the throw a bit because of it.

 

The Cardinals didn't seriously threaten again until late in the third quarter; by that point it was 21-0.

I live in Nelson County and follow all 3 local schools very closely. Nelson looks as though they forgot how to sub players. The defense in particular was gassed, with so many kids on the sidelines its hard to believe they don't have any players to sub in the game. This team is really talented but I don't believe they will go very far as they obviously have very little depth.
