Natalie won because she got the most votes. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks except those who vote. That is the nature of the game. It is similar to any election--the one with the most votes wins. The big difference is that in Survivor you usually screw the voters before the election instead of after the election.

Sometimes those who ride the coat-tails win and other times they don't. All depends on the attitude of the jury.

 

Personally, I'd never vote for a coat-tail.
