Paintsville "Field of Dreams" Softball Complex

Just wondering if we're still on schedule... noticed a parking lot to the FOD Complex. Could someone post some pics of the progress? :thumb:

Where is the complex located? I thought that I read in the Paintsville Herald about a year ago and they said it would be located behind the football field. I could be wrong about this though.

I have been asked to share some pics of the progress @ the Paintsville Field of Dreams Softball Complex. Just so everyone knows, I am NOT trying to "start" anything, but @ the April Paintsville BOE meeting it was reported that a lot of progress would be made on the field and that the infield would be in place by June 12th. Just thought some might like to see how the project is progressing.

I believe what I was told, the meeting was on 4-12-05 and they said in 2 months.

still being used as a football practice field and i guarantee it will still be used as practice field when the softball field is fixed.

Hey, you didn't think we were so deluded when the past super, Big Jim Roe, was all "farred up" to spend our money on the Brown property AND that additional building all in the name of TITLE IX.... for us to believe we would have it all to ourselves for a softball field did you? Heck, we wouldn't have minded and don't mind to share facilities as long as we have a field of our own! A HOME FIELD... not asking for anything fancy... just a field of our own that is well kept and maintained... before the Spring of 2007!!!!!!!!

In less than two months since my last post, a field is actually taking shape!!! As long as the weather holds out, I hope they continue progress!
